Paul Fine: President / Principal Designer

Mr. Fine is a1991 graduate of Temple University with a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design. In October of 1992, Paul founded Fine Design Associates, Inc. to fulfill the growing need for an outstanding lighting design firm to service the exhibit, tradeshow and corporate events industry.

In the past two decade Fine Design Associates, Inc. has grown into a full service design firm with offices in Pennsylvania and New York. Fine Design has an educated and professional staff of Design Associates who travel to cities nationwide providing exciting theatrical lighting for their clients.

Paul has designed for leading exhibit and trade show producers including: Sparks Exhibits and Environments, Exhibitgroup / Giltspur, Jack Morton Worldwide, MC 2, and Show-Aids. Other Fine Design projects over the years have included marquee names such as IBM, Panasonic, Samsung, Intel, HP-Compaq, Turner Broadcasting, Astra Zenica, Dunkin' Donuts, Ciena, Nvidia, Timberland, Boston Scientific, Agilent, Digital, Canon, Hershey's, RJR, Shire Pharma, DuPont and others.

Born in Queens, NY, Paul currently resides in Bucks County, PA.

Ken Moreland: Senior Associate Designer

Ken is a 1990 Graduate of Towson University (MD) with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Design and Production and a 1987 Technical Internship Certificate from Yale School of Drama in Technical Design and Production. For 6 years Ken was a staff member of Temple University Theater department and worked with several Philadelphia -based arts organizations. In 1993 Ken re-located to New York City, and has designed extensively in the entertainment industry, including Off-Broadway and regional theatre, as well as music and dance.

Ken became an Associate with Fine Design Associates in 1996, working on projects including IBM, Digital Equipment, Intel, Turner, and many others. In 1998 Ken opened the New York office of Fine Design Associates, continuing a commitment to provide expert service to its clients.

Andrew Biliau: Associate Designer

Drew is a 1992 Graduate of the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Design and Production and a 1995 graduate of Temple University with a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design. Credits include lighting designs for the Arden Theater, People's Light & Theater Company, Ballet X, Lucidity Suitcase,Cleveland Opera,The Pennsylvania Ballet and the Opera Company of Philadelphia. Drew is currently the Resident Lighting Designer and Lighting Director for the Opera Company of Philadelphia as well as a faculty member teaching Lighting Design at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. Drew became an Associate with Fine Design Associates in 1996.

John-Paul Szczepanski: Associate Designer

John-Paul is a 1987 graduate of the State University on New York at Purchase with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Lighting Design. He has designed the lighting for many theatrical shows, fashion shows and corporate events in New York and touring productions around the United States. He also worked as an assitant lighting designer on Broadway for over 8 years. He has been working with Fine Design Associates, Inc. since 2001 and has worked with such clients as Samsung, Canon, Panasonic, Pfizer Astra Zenica, Safilo and Boston Scientific. In 2006 John Paul became a full time member of the design team working out of the New York office. John Paul is a member of United Scenic Artits, Local #829 of Iatse.
